When Georgia and Robert began planning their wedding at the stunning Plas Dinam Country House, they knew they wanted a day filled with romance, elegance, and just a touch of Bridgerton-inspired magic. From dreamy dusky lavender bridesmaid dresses to cascading wisteria and candlelit reception tables, every detail was designed to transport guests into a world of soft pastels, opulent florals, and elegant regency charm.
As their florist, I had the absolute joy of bringing their vision to life—creating everything from delicate bridal bouquets to dramatic floral installations that transformed the venue into a blooming springtime dream. Even when the unpredictable Welsh weather threw us a last-minute curveball, we made sure their day remained just as magical as they had imagined.
Keep reading for all the gorgeous floral details from Georgia and Robert’s beautifully romantic wedding day!

Personal Flowers
When Georgia told me she’d chosen dusky lavender for her bridesmaids' dresses—taking inspiration from the dreamy, wisteria-clad houses of Bridgerton—I just knew we had to create florals that felt just as romantic and whimsical. So, I pulled together a gorgeous selection of lavender-toned blooms to craft bouquets that felt effortlessly spring-like, perfectly complementing the soft, ethereal look of the bridal party and tying beautifully into the overall theme of the day.
For Georgia’s bouquet, we curated a dreamy mix of summer garden blooms—think ruffled ‘Secret Garden’ roses, delicate asters, fragrant sweet peas, and playful snapdragons. The bridesmaids carried mini versions of the bridal bouquet, making sure the whole party felt beautifully cohesive while still letting Georgia’s bouquet take center stage (as it should!).
But let’s not forget about the boys! The groom and groomsmen ditched the traditional buttonholes in favor of something a little different - floral pocket squares! This fresh take on a boutonnière tucks neatly into the breast pocket of the suit, creating a beautifully natural, unstructured floral accent with zero need for pins (because who needs that stress on a wedding morning?).

Ceremony Flowers
Georgia and Robert had their hearts set on exchanging vows outdoors, framed by the breathtaking arched doorway at Plas Dinam Country House - a picture-perfect backdrop for their "I do’s." To enhance the space, we created a pair of beautifully abundant urn arrangements, brimming with frothy florals, delicate spring blossom, and the dreamiest fluffy roses. It was all set to be a floral-filled, fairytale moment.
But, as any British wedding florist knows, the weather always likes to keep us on our toes! Just as guests were taking their seats, the heavens opened, and the ceremony had to make a last-minute dash indoors. Luckily, as I always tell my couples, urn arrangements are a dream for situations like this. Unlike some larger floral installations that can be tricky to move once they’re in place, these beauties are designed to be completely flexible. With a quick team effort, we seamlessly relocated them to the drawing room, where they adorned the new ceremony spot just as beautifully as they had outside.
So, while the original plan may have been rained off, the romance certainly wasn’t! Georgia and Robert still had their magical, flower-filled moment—just with a little extra spontaneity thrown in for good measure. Hey, it wouldn't be Wales without a little rain would it?!

Reception Flowers
Georgia and Robert had a vision for their reception at Plas Dinam’s stables—something truly magical, as if their guests had stepped into a beautiful spring garden. And let me tell you, we love a transformation challenge!
To bring their vision to life, we created the most stunning statement piece: a giant "cloud" of flowers suspended above the top table. This breathtaking installation became the focal point of the room, leaving guests in absolute awe as they walked in. We layered soft spring blossom, delicate trailing foliage, and, of course, plenty of cascading wisteria to add that touch of Bridgerton-worthy romance.
Beneath the floating floral masterpiece, we went all out on the tablescape—masses of flickering candles casting the dreamiest glow, delicate bud vases filled with seasonal blooms, and vintage classic books adding an extra touch of old-world whimsical charm. The result? A reception space that felt intimate, enchanting, and completely unforgettable.
